Ms.MuñekaWear

If you ask me or anyone that knows her or her company, the answer would have to be one in the same. Diana Rosario is MuñekaWear, and MuñekaWear is Diana Rosario. It doesn’t end there, the journey to where she is right now, is a journey many independents would love to find themselves in. Get this, picture yourself having a talent you believe in, better yet, a natural talent you believe in, and actually pursuing your talent, and making it into something by any means necessary!, this is not something extraordinarily new, we’ve seen this before right?…Christopher “Biggie” Wallace, and Sean “Jay Z” Carter to keep it simple…neither of them wrote their rhymes right?, and both managed to fascinate us all with their weaving of words…once again,in that aspect,”one in the same”. Ms MuñekaWear will fascinate you with her “FREESTYLE” way of weaving in her own unique way…Designing!

I have met with this fashion phenomenon on numerous occasions, and each time I asked my questions, I always received the same answers, this is in a 4 year span. This only proved to me the genuine person she is, and talk about ambitious!…think about this…in the 4 years I’ve known her, she started 2 company’s, she designs her own graphics, she produces her own runway fashion shows, she hand makes her own clothing line,HANDMAKES!…DID YOU SEE HER WEBSITE?!…anyway, while hand-making, and meeting deadlines, she’s also a very down to earth family oriented married woman!(sorry guys!)…I’m not going to get deeper into her personal life, but wow…when someone takes a no holds barred approach in life, through even tragedies…how can you sit around and do nothing?, how can you yourself not chase your dream, and support others in achieving theirs?,food for thought.

I’m not here to bore you with someone Else’s achievements, I just call it like I see it, this is as real as “keepin’ it REAL gets!”…of course once again, you don’t have to take my word for it, the proof is right in your face!…you can log on to munekawear.com, you can log on to kacheassociates.com which is her other self-made company for people like us, which I am a proud member of. You may even say this may be a conflict of interest me writing about someone I work with and admire, but I’m sure if given the opportunity, you would do the exact same thing!

This Summer Diana will be producing her 3rd annual run way show, with new extravagant designs!…and fresh new faces!…she’s also launching her fresh new Muñekita collection, for ages 4-12. With hot new ideas, and ambition a freight train couldn’t stop, you are bound to see or hear something new and refreshing from this soon to be fashion icon, EVERYTIME!

Diana’s first fashion Debut was in June of 2006 at Glo ultra lounge. Her Second was at Club Destiny on April of 2007, In 2008 she took a well deserved maternity leave, and is ready for her 3rd Annual entitled “The MuñekaWear Experience”! this coming June!…This event will have massive coverage on all levels, this years sponsors are very proud and excited, this event will have more models, more style, more people than any of the other 2 previous fashion shows, which were extremely good, but when I asked Diana what would be different, she simply said ” this one is going to be extremely great!”

This has been a Pure Cash moment!

If you or anyone you know has drive and ambition and you also want to be

heard, email me at eric149@purecashmagazine.com

Thank you,

See you @ the top!

DJ Nasty: Cuba. We came to the U.S. in 1978. Our father was in the navy and wanted a change in scenery.

PCM: Who is the little brother?
DJ Nasty: I Am
PCM: Are you married or single?
Both: in a relationship

PCM: Any kids?
DJ Nasty: I have a 4 year old.
LVM: I have a 7 year old boy.
PCM: When was your first production?
DJ Nasty: I did a record on my own for Krayzie Bone called “Thug Love.” It was done on an MPC 60, but the real official record that The Nasty Beatmakers did was for Fat Joe –on the Jealous Ones Envy album called ‘Wildlife’ feat Xzibit – that was our first major breakthrough
PCM: How did you get hooked up with that?

DJ Nasty: We knew Fat Joe for a minute. DJ Nasty: GOD! And myself for hard work and dedication .
PCM: What has been your biggest accomplishment to date?
DJ Nasty: The Grammy. Winning the Grammy – I don’t think it gets any bigger than that! (LVM agrees)
PCM: If you could go back in time what is one thing that you would have done different?
DJ Nasty: Be more vocal! I’m kind of a laid back quiet dude.
PCM: What advice would you give to up and coming producers and artists?
LVM: Establish relationships and keep them. If you meet somebody and it didn’t pan out right there, it may later, so be sure not to burn any bridges.

DJ Nasty: Be into your craft and try to be original. Do something that stands out, go hard and keep in tune with what’s out there, be original.

PCM: What’s the first thing you look for when an artist gives you a CD?
DJ Nasty: His flow, his originality, its got to sound good, if it doesn’t sound right it’s a bad impression.
PCM: What is in your CD deck in your car?
DJ Nasty: Snoop Dogg’s 1st album, and Kane West’ new album.

LVM: Kanye, and the the Ludacris album that got us the Grammy, I like to always remind myself of that.
PCM: Who are your 3 favorite artists in the game right now?
DJ Nasty: T.I., Ludacris, & Lil Wayne.

LVM: Ludacris, Lil Wayne and Jay-Z
PCM: DO you think that Orlando will ever be seen as a music Mecca like Georgia and now Miami?
DJ Nasty: Yeah I think it will get there eventually. There’s alt of talent out here but we all got to bond together – we can’t be so separated.

PCM: Who do you think are the top 5 power players in Orlando right now?

DJ Nasty: – The Runners, Nasty Beatmakers, Prostyle, Dawgmann, & Frontline promotions.

PCM: What is the biggest misconception that people have about you?
DJ Nasty: A lot of people like just as of the last 2 years think that I don’t give them a fair shot of getting them radio play or getting them out here. I don’t want people to think that I’m the only outlet. If you’re an artist- go hard! I always use Treal as an example because they are the last group out of Orlando who started on the streets and just got signed. They started at the club and then the radio and became a big huge smash

PCM: Do you think vinyl is still important?

DJ Nasty: I hate to answer that because I grew up on vinyl but the game has changed! I get all my new music on CD’s and mp3s. Serrato changed the game!

PCM: What do you think is the best digital service to get yourself exposure on the net?

DJ Nasty: Digiwaxx, and new music server

PCM: Should we be surprised if we hear about you in Superhead’s next book?
DJ Nasty: (laughs) – Na -I don’t even get down like that.

LVM: Na

DJ Nasty: I never eat breakfast

LVM: Toast w cinnamon sugar, remember that?

Characteristics: The President of BBU Enterprise, Producers and Peers describe Big-B as extremely dedicated, honest, hard working and committed.

Studio Base: BBU Enterprise, Waldorf, MD, Owned By: BBU Enterprise

Highlights of experience and Accomplishments: At the age of 18 Big-B help create his own record label ‘ Familio Records’, published and processed copyrights to beats and lyrics, produced other artist and sold over 40,000 units of duo projects ‘ The Product’, ‘The Resume’ and ‘The Takeover’. The album ‘The Product’ was released in 2002 and sold over 10,000 units. ‘The Resume’ was released in 2004 and sold over 15,000 units, which caught the attention of Den-Den CEO of BBU Enterprise and Producer X-Quiz The Hitman. Den-Den and the group Familio put together one of the hottest and most selling albums in Charles County history, ‘ Tha Takeover’ was released in 2005 and sold over 17,000 units out the trunk and local stores.

At 25 years old, the self-proclaimed ‘Big-B’ is about to make his presence known throughout the Rap music Industry. Big-B, alias Brian Goldring was born and raised in Waldorf , MD. Big-B has been rapping from a very early age, he credits his influences to Biggie and Jay- Z , Just like Biggie and Jay- Z, Big-B doesn’t use a pen or paper to memorize his raps there strictly in his head.

His dedication to the studio and understanding the music business when it comes to doing songs with catchy hooks, delivery on the mic , and self promotion, etc., he has been catalysts in separating him from other aspiring artist who think they have what it takes just because they can freestyle for one hundred bars. ‘Only other rappers are caught up in those things, I make my music for those who are going to buy my music, period.’, says Big-B. Getting his work ethic from his mother has helped in promoting his career. “I’ ve seen how she struggled for a period of time, but through hard work and determination she has achieved goals only a few people will ever reach.’

Big-B has sold over 60,000 units in the streets of Maryland. He has made appearances on a variety of DVD’ s as well

Big-B has also performed shows at area clubs, colleges and universities, and will soon embark on a 10 city tour with other established artist.

Projects currently in the mix are: ‘Married 2 The Streets’ Mixtape coming November 2008, “Southside of Maryland mixtape” coming early 2009, “Southside of Maryland” The Album Coming summer 2009 to all local retail stores in Maryland and ‘Hungry 4 Cash’ the solo album coming this summer 2010. Distributing “Gotta Get This Money’ DVD & Soundtrack (Available Now) Distributing mixtapes (Smoke Session 2006) in which sold over 7,000 units , featuring his fellow Familio artist, DOWLOAD IT FOR And (Southern MD Slangin 2007/2008) Hosted Dj Chuck T which has sold 3000 in 2 months and still selling, (The D.M.V’S Finest 2007) which sold 5000 units, (Welcome 2 Waldorf 2006/2007) Hosted by Dj Kurupt which has sold over 10000 units in MD, DC, VA, Miami, Atlanta, and still selling.

One of Big-B’s goals is to eventually executive produce for other aspiring artist. ‘ I want to get my career jumped off first, than I will go back and help others who supported me. I feel that the MD area is about to take off and I want to be the forefront of the whole thing.’

Scotland’s own Kon-Tempt has always set himself apart from the rest of the field of DJ’s and producers.
These days DJs are a dime a dozen. To stand out regionally is a task in itself. Kon has blown past the goal of being a regional figure and has positioned himself as a pre-eminent Artist/DJ/Producer known throughout the world, through his Mic presence, mix-tapes & in the club.

I try to spread my name out as much as possible. If you feel lost, you can always google me.

How did you get that name? By being a product of my environment. The name BranMan was given to me since my real name is Brandon. Every Brandon around and before me has/had that nickname most likely, but to make myself more independent and stand out, I added the name FloMore by my own naming with the encouragement of others suggesting the name. B-More + Florida = FloMore. Where I was born and raised. BranMan FloMore.

What has been your biggest accomplishment? Establishing FloMore Productions. I got a website, the name is copyrighted. It’s pretty official. To have something of your own is truly an accomplishment to me. It feels good to finally find your niche.

What has been your most difficult challenge? Being able to put my money into music more. Last year, the majority of the extra money I was getting was used just for promotion. Being in a monetary system, not many get the privilege to get all the needs and wants when it comes to elevating their stance.

What makes you different? Being in Florida, the DIRTY SOUTH presence is strong and I think that totally makes my sound different from others. I have a problem fitting in when it comes to that area. And what makes me different personally is that I don’t even listen to the radio that much, so I don’t keep up with popularity and trivia of today. I’m more influenced by the underground.

What projects are you working on? I have no projects right now, but I look for work. I’m focused on getting some exposure right now by looking for some beat battles, contests and seminars. But I might do less of that this year and put some time into music itself.

Where are you from originally? Baltimore, Maryland. I miss the snow.

How Long have you been making music? Over 3 years, a year after high school. Before that, I was really into graffiti and writing. And very much into both music and art.

What artists inspire you? Eminem, Royce Da 5′9”, Immortal Technique

How would you define your style of music? For awhile, I couldn’t label my style. But as I continued to promote myself, a few people have called me left field. But I don’t like being called left field and I know I’m not versatile, I would be too big headed to say that. I would like to consider my style random. If anyone is curious to know the first song that I listened to that motivated me to start producing, listen to Nappy Root’s song ‘Trouble In, Trouble Out’. I will never get tired of this song.

What teams are you affiliated with? FloMore Productions is an one man show. But a street team does wonders and I would to thank my brother and his friends for the extra hand.

Who are some artists that you have worked with? Gunz, AIM, D-Lo, Big AX-D, Misfit, Ace, Tank, G-Lou, Strat (R.I.P.) and more. Most of the people I worked with are not in Florida which is interesting.

Who would you like to collab with? As much artists as possible, especially those who motivate me. A few placements wouldn’t hurt either.

Where do you see the future of music? I can only tell you where I don’t want to see music and that’s not in a dumbing down process. As far as the form, I really appreciate it’s digitalness. l’d like to see myself finally having my own studio set up by then for artists to come over and to lay down some tracks. I can’t tell you how many times artists ask for beats and a place to spit or sing at. So that’s going to take some money and time.

Describe yourself in one word: Artivist.

Any shout outs? To all my clients, E-Team, to my friends, co-workers and family.

LONDON COMPOSER / PRODUCER / MUSICIAN / DJ ON THE UP&UP WORLDWIDE, He has a natural gift for music composition. Mostly Hip Hop / R&B Compositions/Productions, a guitarist from ten years old, He now plays a multitude of Instruments to a very high level.

‘I enjoy making music and have been composing and producing seriously for around ten years. I like to make the artists and the public happy through my creative skills, I do it for my love of music.’

Artists i work with have included..

One of the Uk’s key figures in Drum & bass and Diesel Uk urban artist award winner Mc Riddla,

One of the multi platinum selling So Solid Crew’s key rapper’s called ‘Face’,

U.S rapper’s include ‘Main Flow’, ‘Street Lotto’, ‘Jin’ I have also received interest from ‘right hand management’ (Bobby valentino),

I have also received the support of such key figures as Grammy award winning Producers Glen Mosley (Neyo, Tyresse, Chris Brown, Mariah Carey and many more) and Tony Haynes who has produced artists including the legend himself Michael Jackson and many more including Quincy Jones and Peter Gabriel and has over 70 million sales.

A lot of people are taking note of my music and i’ve had nothing but positive resonses about my musical styles, so if you get a chance to check me out please do, The tracks contains NO SAMPLES so its just me & a Lyricist!!.

Thanks for reading.

Dj Rogue.

Where can we hear your stuff? On my website – http://sites.google.com/site/djroguemusic/about-me

Myspace.com/djrogue

Wannabattle Records website-

www.wannabattle.com/wbbeats.php

There are lots of other sites out there hosting my music.

How did you get that name? I was called a ‘Rogue’ by an old teacher in primary school and it was my nickname since then…years later i was doing a H.N.D in music tech and an assignment at the time was to register an ‘artist aka’ so i revived the nickname and put a ‘dj’ in front of it!!

What has been your biggest accomplishment? My biggest accomplishment is hard to nail in one fatal swoop!! Im currently working on music with an artist signed to sony for release through the sony label sometime in Q4 2009….

Also having recognition from Grammy award winning Songwriters/Producers like Glen Mosley (Neyo, Tyresse, Chris Brown, Mariah Carey and many more) and Tony Haynes who has produced artists including the legend himself Michael Jackson and many more including Quincy Jones and Peter Gabriel and has had over 70 million sales. So getting recognition from such high figures in the industry is a big deal to me personally.

What has been your most difficult challenge? My most difficult challenge so far has been Management or at least the lack of a manager with connections to the right people and able to cut through the ‘Red Tape’ surrounding a high profile artist….

At the moment im doing everything myself ‘the whole 360!’ but really i just want to write good music and let everyone hear it….My most difficult challenge is right now, breakin up a level

What makes you different? I’m English, intelligent and evil, just like in movies only taller!

What projects are you working on? Mixtape with One of the multi platinum selling So Solid Crew’s key rapper’s called ‘Face’ aka ‘Black piranha’ from the Uk.

Two albums I have to keep secret which is a shame because I’d love to brag.

Scotty Hinds Album (australia)

Featuring my banger ‘Merk da Zoot’, you can catch that this year too…

Mixtape with Brooklyn’s new favorite Mc called Wyldbunch, this cats new but his style is timeless and in my eyes untouchable lyrically,

Look out an up & coming 10 song jump off….all original beats and rhymes…skits..the whole bit

Exclusively by Dj Rogue & WyldBunch in summer 09.

Where are you from originally? South London, U.k

How Long have you been making music? I’m 27, I have been Composing and Producing music for around ten years,

I’ve been cutting samples and using midi’s since the days of the atari and amiga computers when i was just 12 years old learning to play various Joe Satriani guitar solos on half speed with ‘Stereo Master 4D’ which was really adobe audition in the early 90’s!!! I used to learn the notes like that by ear and play them at the proper speed after i knew the notes…I still play by ear.

I learn’t Guitar at 8 years old….Nearly twenty years ago!

What artists inspire you? Q. Jones

Kanye West

Pantera

Dizze Rascal

WyldBunch

Dr. Dre

Glen Mosley

Tony Haynes

Nas

Dj Semtex

Dj Q-Bert

Mix Master Mike

So Solid Crew

How would you define your style of music? The Platinum Effect-

What teams are you affiliated with? Wannabattle Records

Sony Music

Future Star Music Group

M.O.V.E Entertainment

Hook line & sync publishing

Im Always looking for new contacts though!

Who are some artists that you have worked with? Riddla, Deezus, Lyric 1, Jargon, Dirty south pimpstress, Jupiter Jam, WyldBunch, Nine High, Rhyministar, Street Lotto, Face, Verse, J.m.e, Mainflow, Young Jersey, Antourage, Morph

Who would you like to collab with? Ghost Face Killa

Klashnekoff

Dizzee Rascal

Andre 3000

I’d say every major artist has something musically amazing to offer so id like to work with everyone really…Who wouldn’t i guess.

Where do you see the future of music? Well the industry is being kicked around a bit from illegal downloads (95% of all music downloads in 2008 were illegal here in the uk!) So id say it could go 2 ways- The only people making music will be ‘Fame seekers’ and musicians with jobs at burger shack…so thats not good.

Or …Well the way around illegal downloads is really to charge people to upload files over a certain size or file type or both!!!! Im just a songwriter so dont ask me anymore than that please!!!

Where do you see yourself in 1 year? In a Studio

Describe yourself in one word: ROGUE

Any shout outs? Big shout outs to pure cash magazine and every person for reading this interview.

Peace
